The Risk Factor
Every medical surgery will always have risks, and this does not exclude liposuction. It is advisable that before undergoing a lipo procedure, you should be aware of the complications it might pose: excessive liposuction will cause indentations in the skin; there may be blotchy discolorations, which may become permanent because of injured blood vessels, blisters, temporary lumpiness, haematoma, hyperpigmentation, and skin depressions. The most severe complications that are at the same time life threatening happens because of surgical error, patient reaction, or unsterilized surgical instruments. Others include seizure, infection, blood clots, hypothermia; internal organs are damaged, severe blood loss, heart failure and nerve or brain damage.
